Cancellation Policy

At VinozaHotel, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while maintaining our commitment to providing exceptional service to all our guests. Please review the following information regarding reservation modifications and cancellations.

1. Standard Reservations

1.1 Cancellation Timeline

1.2 Modification of Reservation

Modifications to existing reservations (date changes, room type, length of stay) are subject to availability and may result in rate adjustments. Modifications requested within the cancellation period outlined above may be subject to cancellation fees.

2. Peak Season Reservations

Peak season is defined as December 15 - January 15 and February 1-28.

2.1 Cancellation Timeline

2.2 Holiday Period

Reservations for December 24-26 and December 31-January 2 require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

3. Group Reservations

Group bookings of 5 or more rooms are subject to specific cancellation terms outlined in the group contract. Generally, these include:

  • 50% deposit required at booking
  • Full payment due 45 days prior to arrival
  • Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund
  • Cancellation 30-60 days before arrival: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: No refund

4. Weather-Related Cancellations

We understand that alpine weather can be unpredictable. In cases of severe weather conditions:

  • Official road closures or travel advisories affecting access to VinozaHotel may qualify for a flexible rebooking or full refund, regardless of the standard cancellation policy
  • Documentation of travel disruption may be required
  • Weather-related refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Please note that standard weather conditions typical for an alpine environment do not qualify for special cancellation terms.

5. No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to arrive on their scheduled check-in date without prior notification will be considered a no-show. No-shows are subject to a charge equal to the full reservation amount with no refund.

6. Early Departure

Guests who check out prior to their scheduled departure date will be charged for the entire original reservation. No refunds will be issued for early departure.

7. Flexible Rate Option

For guests seeking maximum flexibility, we offer a Flexible Rate option at a premium of 15% above our standard rates. Reservations made under this rate plan allow:

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled arrival
  • No penalty for date modifications (subject to availability)
  • Ability to adjust length of stay without penalty

The Flexible Rate option must be selected at the time of booking and cannot be added to an existing reservation.

8. How to Cancel or Modify a Reservation

To cancel or modify your reservation, please use one of the following methods:

  • Online: Log in to your account on our website and select "My Reservations"
  • Email: Send your cancellation request to [email protected]
  • Phone: Call our reservations department at +41 800 846 692

Please include your reservation number, name, and dates of stay in all communications.

9. Refund Processing

Eligible refunds will be processed to the original form of payment within 7-10 business days of the cancellation. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
